Courtney's journey began in the charming town of Cottage Grove, OR, where she graduated from South Lane Christian School in 2011. In 2014, she joined hands in matrimony with her beloved husband, Kyle McGowen, and their shared journey took an exciting turn in 2020 with the arrival of their precious bundle of joy, Zamuel.

Guided by a deep-seated commitment to nurturing young hearts and minds within a faith-based framework, Courtney has embarked on a rewarding path in the realm of childcare. Her unwavering passion for creating a nurturing and spiritually enriching environment has been her driving force since 2016, when she first entered the childcare industry.

Experience, dedication, and a profound understanding of the importance of early childhood development come together seamlessly in Courtney's approach to childcare. With her, you can trust that your child's formative years will be embraced with care, love, and a strong foundation in faith, setting them on a path of growth and discovery in a warm and welcoming setting.

“I was extremely nervous to leave my child in the care of others for the first time as I went back to work. From the first day, Courtney was warm and supportive. She listened to my concerns and fears and offered so much reassurance. I constantly worried that my son would be friendless or unhappy, but Courtney would send me pictures during the day of him playing and having fun. On the occasional morning when he would have separation anxiety, she would confidently take him into her arms and within what seemed like minutes, I would get a photo of the two of them smiling together. During my son’s time in her class his social skills, emotional intelligence, and compassion for others grew in leaps and bounds. I credit his growth to her patience, kindness, and compassion for children. If it were not for Courtney, I would never have been able to go back to work. I always knew when my child was with her, he would be safe and lovingly cared for. She was truly a gift and a blessing for my family and my son developed a very deep bond with her. Any child would be lucky to have Courtney as their teacher.”

“Courtney did an excellent job taking my son who had never been in school before (he was only 3 at the beginning of the year) and guiding him into becoming a student preparing for kindergarten. The communication between Courtney and myself was great as we spent the year traversing through different stages of growth with my son. She would let me know some of the funny or silly things he said or did during class. If he was having a hard day, she would simply give me a heads-up and we would know what to discuss with him when we picked him up after school. With open communication we were able to help him grow his social functioning skills.

I was quite impressed by how many songs he had learned to sing by the end of the year, how well he could write and say his alphabet. My son loved going to class each day. He has one more year with Teacher Courtney at Faithful Partner Preschool before moving onto public school and kindergarten. I am confident that Courtney has helped set him on a solid foundation to succeed in early education and that he will be overly prepared for kindergarten.

I highly recommend Courtney for anyone looking for a kind, patient teacher for their little one. I trust her completely with my son. She is an excellent teacher, and I am so grateful she opened her school so that my child could be more than prepared for kindergarten under her guidance.
